Mr. Del Riego began his career in 1974 with Crowley Maritime in vessel operations. He moved promptly into management as Director of Crowley's Dominican Service based in Jacksonville, FL.
In 1984, Mr. Del Riego left Crowley to start EDR International, Inc. (EDRII) partnering with Southern Steam, Inc., forming a franchise in Florida and the Caribbean.
In 1992, upon sale of Southern Steam to Inchcape Shipping of London, Mr. Del Riego joined Inchcape Shipping heading the Latin America Division.
In 1994, he partnered with the Di Gregorio Family of Brazil to build a U.S. Logistics business with over $100 million in revenues and a port in Manaus (www.superterminais.com.br).
In 1999, Mr. Del Riego started Athena Information Systems, a software company. Athena was subsequently acquired by Plus Integration of Holland.
Mr. Del Riego headed Active Freight as President growing the company seven fold selling his interest prior to joining PayCargo, Mr. Del Riego is also an investor in several logistics and IT businesses (E-Factor, United Agency, and Super Terminais).
Mr. Del Riego is a graduate of Florida International University and has an MBA from a California University
